Until we celebrate together.
We are so excited to share this beautiful chapter of our lives with the people we love. What began as friendship during a difficult season became a story of healing, prayer, patience, laughter, and genuine love.
As we prepare to become husband and wife, we invite you to celebrate the journey that brought us here and the beautiful future God is preparing for us.
Chapter I
We met through grief counseling during a season when we both needed encouragement and support. Over time, we became friends and confidants. We could talk about life, laugh together, pray together, and be there for one another through the tears as well as the joyful moments.
Our friendship became a safe place filled with laughter, tears, joy, peace, prayer, and genuine love.
Chapter II
Two years later, he asked me on a date. I was a little hesitant because I truly loved and valued him as my friend. But I said yes. He shared more of his story with me. We talked. We laughed. And, of course, we went to one of our favorite places, the beach, where we took a stroll and simply enjoyed being together.
At first, we continued being friends. But as the months passed, he finally admitted that he really liked me. And little by little, something beautiful began to change. We spent more time together. Our conversations became deeper. Our connection grew stronger. And the friendship that had carried us through so much began blossoming into love.

Chapter III · God's Timing
We prayed together and continued growing closer while enjoying the simple things: long conversations, movies, bowling, road trips, good food, laughter, and quality time together. But we knew that if our relationship was going to become everything God intended it to be, Christ had to remain at the center.
We made a commitment to pursue our relationship in a way that honored God, believing that consistency in our walk with Christ would prepare us for marriage. So we chose to remain faithful to God first, and then to one another. Through every season, God continued to confirm that what began as friendship was becoming something much greater.

Chapter IV · The Proposal
He told me we were going out to eat, but once we got into the car, he asked me to put on a blindfold. Without hesitation, I did. He drove us to Stinson Park in Jacksonville, Florida, helped me out of the car, and began leading me while I still could not see where I was going.
Looking back, there was something beautiful about that moment. I trusted him to lead me even though I could not see where I was headed. In many ways, it represented our whole journey: trusting, walking by faith, and allowing God to lead us into what was next. Then came the surprise. The man who had first become my friend, my confidant, my prayer partner, and the person who had walked beside me through so many seasons asked me to become his wife. And my answer was

We are excited to build a life together grounded in love, faith, friendship, prayer, and commitment. We look forward to growing together, laughing together, praying together, traveling together, building memories together, and continuing to choose one another through every season of life.
Most importantly, we desire a marriage covered by the anointing of Christ, with God always remaining at the center of our home and our relationship. We began as two people walking through our own journeys. Now, by God's grace, we are preparing to walk together as one.

Our table represents the life we are preparing to build together: a place for prayer, conversation, laughter, dreams, good food, difficult conversations, forgiveness, family, memories, and love.
No matter how large life becomes, we want to remember where it started.
God at the center, and a table for two.
